How to Use the public_FTP Folder
Your public_FTP folder is located in your File Manager.
Note: The File Manager is a program that offers a user-friendly display for users to manage web files and folders. This feature uses a hierarchical or tree structure type of directory and can be found in the control panel of your Hosting Manager.
This means, your public_ftp folder is used by the FTP server with the purpose to store files from the “anonymous” users. Anonymous users or Anonymous FTP logins are usually used for public FTP sites. However, for security purposes, this folder is deactivated and blocked. The folder can be deleted if needed.
As an alternative option, it’s best to create an FTP account if you wish other users to manage your website files for you via your cPanel. Please let us know if you need any further assistance, or if you have any questions. We’d love to help!
